What To Wear: Engagement Photos

Congratulations! You’re engaged! There’s nothing more exciting and surprising than your engagement, but with an engagement comes a series of events where you need FABULOUS outfits, starting with your engagement photos.

How amazing is this photo and perfect for Sea Pines Beach?! Grab a beach cruiser, one of our gorgeous Nantucket Bike Baskets, AG Jeans and a gorgeous top.

Casual Shoot: You HAVE to wear AG Jeans if you’re going the denim and diamonds route.  The fit is perfection and they have enough stretch that no matter what the photographer has you do, you’ll be comfortable. #1 rule of photoshoots: Be Comfortable.

Dressed Up: A classic, yet pretty dress always goes a long way in a photo. You want the photos to be timeless, and lucky for you we have so many options that never go out of style.  Have killer legs? Rock a short dress. Don’t? Maxi dresses always look gorgeous (and channel your inner bride). Don’t forget a statement necklace to really add some oomph to the photos.

Beach Shoot: Beach chic is easily accomplished at Louette, and you can even grab one of our fouta towels to use as a place to sit on the beach.  Perfect beach chic look? A gorgeous basic Heather tank with a floaty skirt that can work with the ocean breeze and some metallic sandals.

Some other things to remember for the photos: stay away from big bangles and arm jewelry, you want the focus to be on your ring!  If you want to add jewelry, go for necklaces and earrings.  Stick with classic silhouettes and basic patterns or solids.  Follow these rules and your engagement photos will be perfection!
